Dear Mr. Gilman,

I  learned recently about your " Resolution Concerning properties wrongfully expropriated by formerly totalitarian governments"  and I appreciated very much with proud ness , to have you on our side trying to correct injustices committed by the communist regime in Romania .

As you probably are aware the present regime still postpone the restitution of our properties inherited from my deceased parents , (Houses,Comercial Buildings and Land) and does not do anything, to return the properties to the rightful owner.

While I appreciate your efforts , I would be grateful to you to have the resolution amended by introducing in  "SECTION 3. SENSE OF THE CONGRESS" the following:

"the Government of Romania should act in the spirit of US House Resolution 562 and Council of Europe Resolution 1123 by returning to the rightful owners properties wrongfully expropriated by formerly  totalitarian governments; The return of properties should precede any    privatization ".

I take this opportunity to thank you for your support in this fight to correct past totalitarian injustices.
